Little State, Big Seafood:

A behind-the-scenes look at the rhode island seafood festival

There are no big problems (luckily), only dozens of little ones. This is a glimpse of what it takes for a group of friends to put on the Rhode Island Seafood Festival at India Point Park in Providence, RI. In 2011 a couple guys thought it'd be fun to put on a festival showcasing some of the best seafood our little state of Rhode Island has to offer.

Twelve years, one pandemic, thousands of patrons, and a countless number of lobster rolls later, this is where the friends hosting have landed. They've been very lucky to not encounter any problems too big to handle on the weekend of the event, but we see how they navigated their way through smaller problems and learned that it's not as much about the problem you are faced with, but how you work past it and move on to hurdle the next obstacle.

A story of friendships made over one weekend each year between festival workers, vendors, musicians, artists, and attendees. If you've attended the Rhode Island Seafood Festival in any capacity you know it's a memory that will always spark a grin above your chin. And if you haven't, you will soon enough.
